From the blurb, Demon, Interrupted sounded like it was going to be a really good book. I knew I was taking a chance reading this novella since it was part of a series I hadn’t read yet. But the blurb looked so good so I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake!I’m so confused! There are so many other characters that I can’t keep up. I can’t keep straight who is a witch, demon, ghost or human. I also can’t determine who is a couple and find myself constantly going back to the blurbs to the previous titles just trying to puzzle it all together. I’ve restarted this book several times and I each time I’ve made it a bit further before having to back track again. About all I’ve been able to figure out is this: Ferris is a demon who encounters a mysterious woman Elaine, who I think is a ghost. She may or may not be a figment of his imagination or a hallucination. The witches are a very tight coven, almost family-like, and the way they recharge their energy is by having sex. There more to Ferris than what he knows but who, and what he, is the big mystery in this story. Honestly, beyond that I am at a loss.
I hate give a book a poor rating when in all honesty, had I read The Lakeland Witches, everything in Demon, Interrupted probably would have made more sense. If it wouldn’t had made more sense at least if I knew who all the other key players were that would probably had been helpful. I do not recommend reading this as a stand-alone. I feel very confident in my flame rating of 5, because trust me there is quite a bit of sex. But for now, this book is going into my DNF pile until I can read the previous titles.
I received this book from the JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine.

Demon Interrupted The Lakeland Witches Book 4 edition by K D Grace Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
KD Grace is a new author for me. This book would have been better had I read the first three, but that is no one's fault but my own. It is well written and enjoyable, hence the 4 stars even though I was a bit confused at times because I hadn't read the previous books, it wasn't hard to follow or figure out the other characters.
Demon Interrupted is a fast paced story. Our heroine Elaine appears fragile at times but has a strong backbone! Demon Ferris, has his demons (pun intended). The Lakeland Witches are supportive of him and want to help him work out his issues.
I enjoyed the bit of historic romance mixed in and there are some chapters that will melt your kindle with the hotness.
Overall an enjoyable paranormal romance, dare I say erotica.
